Motley Soaps is all about self-care, and that includes your energy. I am a strong believer in nature, crystals, and how both are beneficial for our mental, emotional, and spiritual states. Red Jasper is one of my favorite stones, and I carry one with me at all times. It is known for its grounding and protective spiritual properties. It is often used to activate and balance the Root Chakra, enhancing feelings of stability, security, and connection to the earth. It's also believed to promote courage, strength, and endurance, making it a helpful stone for navigating challenges and fostering emotional stability. Red Jasper can help with easing stress and promoting a sense of calm. Not only is it amazing for protecting yourself from negative energy, I call it my "karma" stone. While protecting you from negativity, it also deflects it and "returns to sender". 
 
I chose to pair it with Black Obsidian. Obsidian, a volcanic glass, is also known for its strong protective and grounding properties in spiritual practices. It's believed to absorb negative energies, block psychic attacks, and help release emotional blockages. Obsidian is also thought to enhance self-awareness, promote clarity, and aid in spiritual growth. Obsidian crystals are powerful stones that are known to shield against doubt and help turn negative energy into positive energy.
